FOCL wants your gently used books!  (Please, no damaged books or paperbacks with browned pages.)  We also accept DVDs, CDs, LPs, sheet music, and educational children's games and teaching materials. Unfortunately, we cannot accept magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, or travel guides and tech instruction books that are more than 5 years old.

FOCL sorts your donations and adds materials that are needed to the library's collection.  Items that are out of date, soiled, damaged, or have extensive handwriting are given to the public on the "free cart" outside the main entrance.  

The majority of the donations we receive are saved for the library's semi-annual book sale, which funds the library's programs and events, DVD collection, book purchases from special publishers, Children's Garden, furniture purchases, and other essential services.
